Hospital History
The London Welbeck Hospital was established over 90 years ago as a maternity hospital. The Hospital’s reputation and facilities were of such a high standard that it became known as one of the best maternity Hospitals in the Country, and as a result of this many famous people were born here.

To ensure that all patients are cared for in a safe and comfortable environment at all times.
To ensure patients are provided with up to date and specific information relating to their surgery to ensure they are able to make a valid and informed decision.
To ensure all patients have access to the hospital Comments, Suggestions and Complaints process.
To ensure all Consultant Surgeons and Anaesthetists are assessed against specified quality criteria prior to provision of Practising Privileges within the hospital.
To provide a safe working environment for all employees and those with Practising Privileges in line with the Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
